Creating a Desktop/Tablet Shortcut

Note: there is a “Survey link” and “Sample link” available for each survey type. Use the “Survey link” for administering surveys to youth, and the “Sample link” for test, practice or staff training.

To quickly access a survey directly from the desktop of your technology, you (or an IT person on your team) can easily create a shortcut or shortcut icon. Once you’ve done so, you can simply tap that icon to access the log in screen for your desired survey, at which point youth may be logged in using their unique ID.

*Note: this is a general guide, the titles may vary depending on the type of technology used.

Follow these steps:

  • Log into your Tickit Health account
  • Go to ‘Surveys’ on the menu panel
  • Locate the survey you would like to create a desktop ‘short cut’ for
*Note: this process needs to be completed for each site and/or survey type
  • Click ‘Survey link’
    • A purple pop-up bar at the top of your screen will let you know the link has been properly copied
  • Paste this link in a new browser window
    * Note: be sure you click ‘Survey link’ and not ‘Sample link’
